ZIM FUN! - music,
poems, updates ...
Contents The music for the Fun Zim Ride 5 Rhythms teacher, Andrew Holmes, has compiled the following 5 Rhythms Wave in case we have a chance to do some dancing in Zim:
We drove up overnight from Jo’burg through the border at Beit Bridge to Bulawayo – a journey of over 700 kms taking 12 hours. Richard got the 1am to 6am shift and great tracks on iPod shuffle kept him going (played through a cassette converter on the old car radio). Find Fun There was a girl, quite round and small With a cheeky face, and a rainbow shawl She loved to make shapes in the sand To play with trees in forest and To dance and sing out in the street And tap her toes, and stamp her feet The day made her happy and her whole body smiled She liked to be loud and impulsive and wild The world didn't scare her, her confidence soared She never felt grumpy or awkward, or bored And she knew that the world would accept her because The obvious answer, that no one knew waw: That humans are humans, it's simple you see That my mind's quite like yours, and so you think like me So you shouldn't feel scared, or alone, or ignored For as long as you go out and look you're assured To find friends among strangers, take a risk, don't be shy It's your choice, take a chance, don't let life pass you by So remember, go out and FIND FUN WOOP-DE-DOO Just like that round little girl that I knew Anonymous |
